5 kids

You know it's a change of seasons when the sniffles come to town, you are dragging out the humidifier and spending the night with a cranky baby.  It's extra fun if you've recently weaned, and every once in a while as you are trying to hold and soothe your baby, he does a crocodile spin to attack your boobs.  Sorry, bud.  The well's about dry.

I couldn't exactly get what I envisioned for a '5 kids' shot--I didn't have the space or wide enough angle of lens and the time together is so limited these days--but this is much better.  Really captures the joy of a Sunday morning when nobody's slept, we've all got the beginnings of a cold, and the baby is trying to wiggle away while the older children just want the photo shoot over with already {insert flappy foot}.

Happy Fall (or Spring)!

Oh I love the 'holding baby brother back by a foot' pose! It's a great shot and I hope you all feel better soon :)

That foot holding the baby back is about the best thing ever. Sorry you all are under the weather.
