10|52 & Friday 5

Two of my children came into my bedroom this morning to ask if they had a two hour delay or if we had overslept, as it was so light and sunny out.  Luckily, no delay, just a bright beautiful morning bringing hope that spring is on the way.

The baby has started rolling.  Well, not entirely (just a bit on the bed), but mostly rocking back and forth, arching his back so that it's like changing or bathing a flapping fish.  Which I know is just a precursor for the fun that is just around the corner of crawling and walking, and it's given me a panic attack or two.

The baby has also discovered his hands, and will occasionally take a break from wiggling and writhing  around to simply stare at his fingers as he moves them.  So darn cute.

We have spring break next week, and I have no idea what I am going to do with it.  I would love a little get away, but sadly, traveling with a baby (not to mention his four older siblings) might not be something I am up to right now.

Unfortunately, traveling with a toddler isn't much fun either.  So, we'll probably keep our traveling adventures to a minimum for...the next four years.  ;)

Your cute baby, grows so fast (but not fast enough to travel to). Enjoy our holidays at home, send you a little sunshine

Your baby is adorable. It's fun to watch them exploring their fingers and toes. Do hope you find something fun for spring break.

Those hands! Yes, so darn cute.

Your approximations are on track with our family...
We flew for the first time with all five kids when the "baby" was five years old. :)

What a cutie patootie. Their little brains are like sponges at that age. Traveling with small children has to be more tiring than just having some fun at home!

beautiful portraits! i love that stage when babies discover their hands. it's so cool to watch them learn new things, being totally fascinated by the world around them.
