Grape Hyacinth

It's funny that after what seems like an endless winter,
I can't quite adjust to photographing all the color and light coming into the world!

My front flower beds are full with these. The harbinger of Spring for me.

Beautiful. Here the hyacinths bloomed last month and are done.

Such tenderness in these photos! And I love how black and white draws us to the form, the shapes of things. I'll have to hunt down some of these, they seem fun to shoot!

Every year it amazes me that a flower as tiny and delicate as the grape hyacinth is the first to pop out after (and sometimes in the middle of) such cold weather. These photos are stunning. Love the textures you used.
