two hundred and forty three

I enjoyed doing a backyard scavenger hunt this week.  As we start up school and activities, I end up spending more time in the car than anywhere else, and I miss our little house and the simple life that we live there (most of the time).

 Down

Shadow

Flow

Tip

Beyond

I happened to find this adorable book yesterday that reminded me so much of our home I had to buy it.  My husband and I had a conversation not long ago about what we would do if we had a million dollars, and we both agreed, we'd always keep our little country house.

oh I love down, and flow and beyond. I would stay right where I am as well. I think my daughters had that book when they were little too.

These are all very interesting shots - great interpretations. Something about tip seems to hold my eye. And I love that little book. What joy to have a home that feels like that!

I HAVE to get back on Scavenger Hunt! I love your Flow photo...the capture of the water coming out of the hose is great. I'm loving seeing everyone's takes on the million dollar question!

That is one of my favorite books!! I still have the battered version my mom read to me countless times as a kid!

Yes, you and your husband got it right, I think. I love the photo of your family reading that book. Such lovely tones. And the butterfly photo is just beautiful!

What a wonderful interpretation for "If I Had a Million Dollars"! But then again, I'm not surprised. You are so wonderfully creative ALL the time! Thanks for joining in on Song-ography.

Love that sweet book. I love too that the things worth having are often the things money can't buy!

The down shot is just beautiful. I love the way the mantis is actually pointing down.

Super SHS set. Your Beyond shot is so fun, took me a second to catch the leaping frog. Loved Down and Flow.

What a neat little book and isn't it true that Home is really where the heart should be.

I'm going to have to check out that book... looks adorable.
All your photos are lovely. I have to say, I love the shadow of the watering can.

I suspect that many with millions would give at least a portion of it to just have "simple" back into their lives - something we often take for granted and something you illustrate beautifully. Love that last shot - a true treasure.
