one hundred and seventy seven

I was once talking with a friend and fellow photography enthusiast who commented,
"I see the world so differently when I look through the lens of my camera."
I was immediately a little envious of her dreamy declaration.
It doesn't work that way for me.  I see pictures all the time.  Even when I intentionally put the camera away.
So I find myself either distracted by the act of taking pictures all the time,
or distracted by the pictures popping up in my mind that I am not taking.
A blessing and a curse, perhaps...

I visualize pictures sans camera all the time; if anything, the camera has trained my eye to see more. More creativity, more detail, more abstract, more colors, generally...more.
