When we were visiting in Nantucket,
we had been holding onto summer.
But we returned across the ocean
to find autumn had been coming.
The leaves were changing their colors
and the temperatures were dropping lower.
We went to school to find
Christmas music in the classroom as
holiday crafts had already been started.
I couldn't help but see it,
the light of days to come...
while watching the setting light of
those days that have just passed.

I love how the ornaments catch the light! And it's nice to think of the fading light of one season giving way to the light of the next!

I agree with Adrienne--how you compared the setting light with the light to come. I like the photo you chose to go with it.
