I spend a lot of time on the sidelines these days.  I am that crazy mom.  

Not crazy simply because I am screeching and squealing for my son, 
but also because I am dealing with this at my feet:

Someday it will be her turn to take the field.

Well shucks, I was going to reply to your comment you left me (but it said you are a no-reply)...so I'll just leave it here. My son has always played reciever /running back as well as safety on defense, but with three middle schools melting into the high school they have a record number of freshman this year. Although he did make the first string defense on the "A" team he has not been given the opportunity to play slot reciever which has been hard for him and for us as we are used to seeing him score touchdowns. But the "INAM" motto means you go where you are needed most to help the team achieve the goal. Good luck with your season as well and I look forward to more action shots!
