Simple Things Sunday--A Walk in the Park

One of our favorite parks to visit has a wonderful maze of paths and trails.  You can make your run, walk, or leisurely stroll as long as you like, or make a quick exit by cutting through...usually through the butterfly garden back to the parking lot.  Helpful when kids are screaming in the jogging stroller, or young ones determined to walk themselves have tuckered out.  This day, we managed without the abrupt exit...with a little rest and the eventual help of a piggy back.

so pretty! Love the angle and the b&w, and the composition, the dark skirt and dark horse. And yay for having a favorite walk or park - being able to chase the kids around for a while helps so much when everyone gets cranky!

I'm not sure what it is about the first shot (I can't put my finger on it just yet) but I think it would be beautiful over a sofa.

We're very lucky to have a few great parks around here. We really need to work on spending more time at them.
