Boom!

We ran into friends while waiting for fireworks on the fourth, and I only managed to snap a few shots in between laughs during the show.  Who'd have thought I'd get what I was looking for?  It was an evening of pleasant surprises.  But we did get stuck in traffic.

Hope you had a brilliant week.

LOVE these shots! Maybe my favorite fireworks shot ever! Something about the silhouette of friends together against the soft back drop of the fireworks says summer, innocence, friendship...time slowing down for a few magical moments. Really pretty!!

I love that you focused on the silhouettes, and let the fireworks blur out. It made the shots very unique and clever and still very beautiful!

The focus on the girls sitting together while enjoying the fireworks is brilliant! The fireworks are still equally beautiful, but the friendship and remembering this time in their young lives is especially precious.

These are awesome photos. Love the silouette shots. Focusing on the people in the front turns the fireworks into wonderful bokeh!
