We had a really long day yesterday. A lot of time waiting. Waiting in the waiting room, waiting in the prep area (not a good sign about the wait when you walk in and they hand you a DVD player and suggest you pick a movie! She chose, of course, Sleeping Beauty.), waiting for the nurse, waiting for the medicine, waiting for it to kick in, waiting for the procedure to start, waiting for it to finish, and then waiting for our Sweet Girl to wake up and come around (worst part). Waiting, waiting, waiting. It took so long that we weren't able to see her doctors and we now have to wait until next week to make the trek back to the hospital to see them. Don't get me wrong, though, I am happy to have that MRI behind us. Very. I am still in the midst of the big, long sigh that accompanies getting past something you were not looking forward to, and finding that the air tastes sweeter and life seems a little better now that it's over.
